We have followed closely the development of the Ukrainian Distance
Learning system managed by Dr. Ihor Katernyak and feel that we could
achieve a similar multiplier effect in our courses, as they did
in Ukraine, if the delivery was made using DL techniques. Following
the example in Ukraine, the Baku Scientific and Training Centre
has put together a Partnership for Distance Learning Development
in Azerbaijan (PDLDA), and has reached agreement with 14 universities,
academies and business associations.
To implement this project, a team of highly professional faculty
and staff is available to work with Loyola faculty and staff, as
well help Dr. Katernyak and his staff to transfer lessons-learned
from the Ukrainian experience to Azerbaijan. This will facilitate
a quick start of the program, minimizing often-encountered start
up problems. The staff offered is proficient in English and have
had exposure to training experience in the West.

will certainly use your excellent offer to do some joint projects.
I need some time to define our real needs. GRENA's problem is following,
we were asked to support technical realization of DL program.
Regarding cooperation GRENA will be happy to cooperate with your
